Hello From Alarie

Thank you for dropping by!  Please pull up a chair and stay a while. I’m delighted to celebrate my world of poetry, art, whimsy, and joi de vivre with you. You never know what I’ll talk about. Much of my poetry is ekphrastic (a formal word for “inspired by art”), and art reflects life in all its moods and topics, from tears to laughter, Monet to swimming elephants, even tips on overcoming stage fright. I introduce myself to you in my first ever blog post from 2018, Home-Grown Memories.
